This training will provide specialists an overview of Child Safety Meetings (CSM) in Child Welfare. Specialists will leave with an understanding of the main purpose of a CSM, an introduction to the six stage decision making models, and their responsibility prior to, during and after the CSM. Specialists will also practice clearly articulating safety concerns using impact and behaviorally specific language.
This training is required learning for FCS, CPS, and Comprehensive Specialists who have completed Core Training. Specialists are enrolled in this training by the CW Training Coordinators.
