CW 3445 Mentor Certification – Testing

The final step in the Mentor Certification process is CW 3445. Individuals must wait a minimum of one (1) month, with a maximum of three (3) months after completing CW 3444 before participating in CW 3445 – Certification. The certification process is a two hour simulation in which the mentor is provided with a scenario and role plays the act of providing coaching to a new specialist based on the scenario. The graders for this step are members of the training unit. Mentors can receive an outcome of either “complete” or “incomplete” based on their performance. Mentors will be provided documentation of their results after testing and should notify their supervisor promptly upon return to the office.
PLEASE NOTE:
  • * There is a mandatory 30 day minimum wait time between CW 3032 and CW 3300.
  • * There is a mandatory 60 day minimum wait time between CW 3032 and CW 3042
  • * There is a mandatory 60 day minimum wait time between CW 3300 and CW 3444.
  • * There is a mandatory 30 day minimum wait time between CW 3444 and CW 3445.
This intentional spacing allows participants an opportunity to practice their skills in the field before adding more advanced techniques to their tool kit and complete all necessary pre and post work before moving forward.
