This training pertains to child abuse/neglect referrals and CPS investigations/assessments of foster homes, trial adoptive homes and childcare center/homes. Applicable policy and protocols will be discussed in detail. Discussion will also include how out-of-home investigations can help prevent maltreatment in care by identifying underlying support needs prior to a maltreatment event occurring.
