The Child Welfare Professional Enhancement Program (CWPEP) is a Title IV-E partnership between the OU, OKDHS, and the US Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families. The purpose of this partnership is to enhance the professional development of OKDHS CW staff and to recruit potential CW staff from the accredited Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) programs across the state and from the Master of Social Work (MSW) program at OU. It affords interested students financial support by covering books, fees, and in-state tuition in return for a specified employment obligation in a CWS position with OKDHS or a tribe with which OKDHS has a Tribal/State Agreement. This commitment is 12 BSW or 15 MSW months for each academic year of financial support.
